Materials
Forged carbon steel, riveted through-tang, turned ash handle in linseed oil. Three tines move more soil per stroke than four in anything but loose compost, which is why traditional hand forks had three.
Care
Same as the trowel: sand bucket, a little oil, do not worry about surface rust. Re-oil the handle once a year if it starts looking grey and dry.
